The Role & The Team
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth by promoting Mitigram’s value proposition to potential customers. You will be responsible for building relationships, understanding client needs, and advancing opportunities from initial contact through to close.
Collaborating closely with our Sales, CRM, and Customer Success teams, you will ensure exceptional customer experiences and long-term value. Your efforts will directly contribute to Mitigram’s mission of enabling and enhancing global trade.
What You Will Do
- Develop New Business: Identify, engage, and qualify leads through proactive outreach, leveraging your network, and responding to inbound inquiries.
- Pipeline Management: Take full ownership of your deal pipeline, driving opportunities from lead to close.
- Client Engagement: Understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, articulating how Mitigram’s SaaS platform meets those needs.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Leverage tools like Salesforce to maximize conversion rates and ensure a streamlined sales process.
- Collaborative Selling: Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from prospects and clients to continuously refine and enhance sales strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives for new business development.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally 3+ years in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of technology solutions, cloud, or SaaS offerings.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for clients.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn targeting.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed goals.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in trade Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Treasury, Lending, or financial services.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Swedish, German, Spanish, or French.
- Familiarity with global trade practices and challenges.
